Douglas made the decision to get the band together in early 2004, realising it would allow him to recreate more faithfully the songs from Of All The Towns To Sleep In - which he had, until then, being playing acoustically at live shows. Initially, Fraser Murray was recruited to play drums alongside bassist Alex Hunter. However, he left the band early in 2005 to be replaced temporarily by Paul Gilbody who did some great work with the band, most notably at the T-Break Showcase at Edinburgh's Liquid Room in May. A full time replacement was found in the form of Gecko3 / Floozie Soo drummer Hugh Martin who, after some hectic rehearsing, was in place behind the kit in time for the raft of Edinburgh Festival dates that had been scheduled.

Following those summer gigs the band began preparing to record the follow up to Of All The Towns To Sleep In. A busy autumn live schedule meant that the actual recording sessions didn't begin until November 2005, when the band hooked up with Towns... co-producer and engineer Graeme Robb. Recording is set to continue in January and February 2006 with the album expected to be ready for release by early Spring.
